Sometimes death should feel like a sucker punch. And a sucker punch never feels good. I've killed NPCs in games and had players react similarly.Storyteller1976 a écrit :And here's the session report for yesterday's session:
Tragedy
The death of the little girl caused quite an outcry at the table, one player feeling that my decision to have her die from taking the wrong medicine was unfair and they should have been allowed to make die rolls to realize their mistake - but I see it not as my job to save them from the consequences of the bad and uninformed decisions they make. Interestingly, the other players, even Ruairidh's player, who made the final mistake, were completely fine with this outcome.
