Esteren Mini Pics

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd share some pictures of the SoE minis I painted. I didn't want to devote too much time to the painting so I used this "Stone Effect" tutorial here Link to paint them. I haven't tried the last step yet ... painting the cracks.

That stone effect is pretty neat! It's hard to obtain as polished a result as Kingdom Death, but you fared pretty well

A little off-topic, but have you ever played Kingdom Death: Monster?

I backed their most recent Kickstarter and am looking forward to trying it, but have never played. It has some thematic similarities to Shadows of Esteren, and definitely the same eye for good production values. Figured I'd give it a try.

Thanks for sharing the link on FB Nel! I'm glad you guys like them.

They aren't as nice as the one I had you guys paint from the Kickstarter, but the stone effect does highlight a lot of the details on the miniatures.

I've heard quite a bit about it and I saw their booth at Gen Con several years in a row, but I've never tried it myself. It certainly looks interesting, and it is indeed top-notch esthetically speaking!
