Game proposals - Looking for players / game masters
Re: Game proposals - Looking for players / game masters
I think we lost some posts here since the servers went down. I think we had someone come in here interested so lets see if they come back. I would be down for a game over roll20, itabletop or skype even.
@Redben: You are safe reading everything but the Scenarios in prologue, All of Book 1 is meant for players, Book 2 just dont read the Game Leader sections the canvases, scenarios and bestiary. There are a few Feondas in there that shouldn't be player knowledge. The rest of it is kind of a Gazetteer or atlas in that it just elaborates on the setting. Monestary of Tuath has some information on the temple and its hierarchy but a good portion of the book if a scenario.
As for play by post, we would just need to find some support for dice rolls where we can see them. I wouldn't mind play by post but i would prefer over a chat or virtual tabletop.

Re: Game proposals - Looking for players / game masters
Hello. I should be interested by a game by post. I am not very fluent in English, not enough to handle as a game leader, but I should be an acceptable player (a couple of posts per week). I am fond of Esteren and I have some experience in game by post.

Excellent! Looking forward to having you play Patrick. I have just been looking for a place to do it online where do people normally do this play by forum? Also, what is going to be done about dice since the forums here I don't think support them.

Re: Game proposals - Looking for players / game masters
Presently, I play on 2 French forums, there are different threads for Preparation, Jeu (Roleplay) and HRP (Out of Roleplay). The game leader is in charge on rolling the dices. But I presume you could find easily an English forum.
Re: Game proposals - Looking for players / game masters
Then again, I don't think it'd be a problem to take a spot on a French forum.
Allez, come on, allons-y, here we go, en avant, godspeed, hardi, let's do this!
Re: Game proposals - Looking for players / game masters
I was considering it, we can do the french forums or I found two other sites that we could use. They are http://rpol.net or http://www.pbphud.com/.
Alternatively there is http://www.cerbere.org/~pbf/Esteren which was posted in the French section and is currently under maintenance.
Do you guys have any preference or suggestions?

I do play on cerbere.org, it is a good website, easy for use, but I do not know when they can fix the maintenance.
Re: Game proposals - Looking for players / game masters
cerbere.org could work if it ever comes back up been trying to check it out to know if its good if not we can use one of the other sites I dont mind either way as long as there is a dice roller and a forum we will be good. Then we can start coordinating game roles and characters.

Re: Game proposals - Looking for players / game masters
Cerbere.org is open again (merci Père Noël/thank you Santa Claus), I ask if we can squat on.
Re: Game proposals - Looking for players / game masters
Just registered waiting on a return from the admin there.
While I am lurking there i noticed that Cerbere.org relies on the game leader making all of the rolls, it seems like kind of a pain in the ass
