I am interested in joining a group as well. Im good for play by post or over skype. I do have game leader experience with esteren but i prefer to play if at all possible since im the game leader for my real life group. If we cant find one though ill take up the mantle

Sure that sounds good. As long as people can post frequently im down for it. Where did you have in mind?

I was asking how games by post work. I haven't done one before so was curious to know.

Oh, well in short you just take turns replying to each other over a forum with a game leader and several players except the game takes a bit more time. Some forums have a built in dice roller but its agreed upon you cant edit your posts without asking the game leader first. There are also several third party sites you can roll dice with and record your roll for everyone to see and just post your results in the forum and finally the game leader can just roll everything for you. Its a slow way to play and end up focusing mostly on the roleplaying aspects of the game

If it means getting to play then I'd be interested in giving play post a go. I do have experience of running games but not Shadows and not in this way so I'm probably better off being a player.

Any suggestions on where to look?

As a player, are there any books I should avoid reading? I currently have Book 0 and will pick up Book 1 in January.

Since you're looking for Players, I have taken the liberty of posting an announcement in the French section of the forums, here.

Let's hope one or two people will be interested!
Allez, come on, allons-y, here we go, en avant, godspeed, hardi, let's do this!
