Re: online game
I think that Iznurda is playing it with Roll20 on Google+ Hangouts.
I personally used Rolisteam + Teamspeak some time ago, ran good.
And Heedio, the author of the Fantasy Grounds 2 Esteren Ruleset, might be playing SoE through Fantasy Grounds 2.
I think another guy is using MapTools + Teamspeak, but I cannot remember who it can be, sorry.
Any software I mentioned are good, not to say awesome (especially Fantasy Grounds), but the most important in an online game is the players you play with. On the internet, it's easy to go away from the game like on facebook or anything else, so you have to find players who are really engaged in the game and who have an important motivation to play !

Re: online game
iznurda is indeed running a online campaign on Google Hangout, and yours truly is one of the Players.
I'm not a big fan of virtual role-playing, but I still find the experience enjoyable, mainly because the GL and the Players really are very nice people and know how to play seriously.
Maybe you could try setting up an online campaign with the English-speaking community?

Allez, come on, allons-y, here we go, en avant, godspeed, hardi, let's do this!

Re: online game
I've been very very close to launching a PbP for the game over on the Paizo forums (as that's where I DM my other seven odd PbP games).
I think the system really lends itself to PbP play as the focus is squarely on roleplay and interaction; I've been blessed with some awesome spectacle and creativity in the PbP framework.

Re: online game
Yes, I'm running an online campaign. It's not really like a live session but it's a good compromise. We are trying to play once a week for 3h : short but the attention is better.
I'm sorry because my english is so weak that I'm frightened to test the experience with you guy. But practice is the best school ? I'll think about but if I do you must be gentle with me and help me on words :p And it's much preparation for me (writing the description, and other).
Why not, anyway ? If we have enough volunteers to the experiment why not? If one can speak french, it will be helpfull for me

Re: online game
If you play an english one-shot, it's gonna be quite hard to synchronize ourselves with the time difference between USA and Europe
But if you make it, I'm interested
