Re: Introduction of the Members
Welcome here Koeran!

La sagesse est un chemin ténu et difficile mon fils, et surtout il est sans fin. Il est naturel et salutaire que l'humilité te le rappelle de temps en temps... Mais n'oublie pas que l'humilité est un guide, non un fardeau...

Welcome aboard Koeran,Koeran a écrit :Howdy All!
My name is Eric, I'm from Australia, and I'm really looking forward to exploring Tri-Kazel.
From which part of Down Under are you from? I lived in Melbourne myself, for a while. I'm back to Europe now and I miss Oz so much

Re: Introduction of the Members
Hello all,
I had thought that I had already posted to these forums, but it appears I have only lurked until this time. My name is James, and I'm a roleplayer in northern Virginia. I was drawn to Shadows of Esteren at GenCon when a friend of mine showed off his impressive watercolor of a green dragon in the front of his limited edition Book 1. It was then that I went to see if I might also be able to have such excellent art in a book as well. Happily, time was found, and I sport a proud Tri-Kazelian in the front of my book.
That led me to pledge for the English version of book 0 during the Kickstarter as well as copies of several of the books in French to resurrect the lessons I learned back in high school (and an additional portrait too). That initial illustration surely paid dividends for the team
I also do freelance editing and proofreading for some RPGs, and I'd be happy to help Shadows of Esteren with such work if ever a need arises.

Bien que je puisse lire le français, je ne l’écris malheureusement pas encore très bien.

Welcome in the Shadows Heridfel,
I can promise you that a proofreader is precious. There is a fanzine on the burners that will need your skills for sure
Hope you'll have a great fun amongst us. Don't hesitate to participate, ask questions, post your canvas, adventures etc. Whatever you want to share is welcome and we'll give you feedbacks as best as we can.

Welcome James! What an enthusiastic fan: going as far as to purchase the French version of the books! When you've got people who show such commitment joining the community, what more can you ask for?
Thank you very much for offering your help as a proofreader. At the time, the team for Book 2 works quite well, so we won't be needing a helping hand, but as Daïn mentioned, the good people from Glimmers of Esteren would certainly be glad to have you on board!
Welp, at any rate, feel free to explore the forum, ask questions, and create new threads to share your ideas with the community!

Ah, it seems that I will have to request access to read the fanzine. I will remember to do so soon.

Re: Introduction of the Members
Hello everyone,
My name is Wouter and I live in Belgium.
Like the others I found Shadows of Esteren at kickstarter.
After reading book 1 (and reading it for the 3th right now) I was hooked. The artwork and world are amazing. As are the rules.
This is actually my second french game as I once started some games with Agone. After the Fireborn campaign that I'm currently leading I plan to do a new campaign for SoE.
Some test games are planned this summer. As we are doing a lot of roll-playing right now, I'm curious if our group can handle some roleplaying. Only time will tell.
Thanks for bringing this game into the world. I'm looking forward to the book 2 kickstarter.

Roleplaying is a bit like travelling. You always discover new places and meet new people.
