Oh, yes, I understand that was why the thread was moved here to the Secrets section, so I have no problem with that. Just that it's sad my original idea for the thread got moved!

Players are *always* much too curious, although I think that if the player potentially wants to run the game at some point, and the supplements are available, they will look through the books in the store, if nothing else. Then they might buy them. Still...

It would be a shame to do that because it spoils the fun. On the forum we try to preserve the stuff for Game master (secrets of the universe, scenario and so on) from the eyes of players.
In my opinion, in the public forum, you can open a new thread that asks players to submit their character, it would be a very good thing!
I agree with pretty much everything you have said here, and to be honest, I like this idea and will implement it shortly.
