Red Fall is good too. Maybe not as much a classic as Poison, but the in medias res beginning makes for a good introduction... and deep down, it can remain the same type of straightforward scenario: find the bad guy and beat him into a bloody pulp. Of course, the implications of the plot are much more complex than that, but you can just go with this and it will certainly do very well for a convention.

My own reaction to "Red Fall" was that it wasn't really a good convention scenario, simply because it focuses too much on one character. I do like the in media res beginning, though, and want to do that more often in Esteren scenarios. Hmm, a scenario that starts with a party fleeing through the woods from something that... hehe

That would be a pleasure! Unfortunately, I can't say I have the time to be fully involved in such a project (be reasonable Clovis!), but I'm always eager to provide my help to build a good scenario.

I think this would be an interesting idea, but obviously it would only get done if there was enough interest in doing so... One would have to make the time for such a challenge for the English community (and any French or other folks that might want to become involved. We'll see what develops of this.

At any rate, I definitely think it would be a good thing to have a scenario from the English community... and having it hatch from a collaboration between English-speaking members and French ones would certainly be even better! Easier said than done, of course, but I believe it really could set a milestone in the history of Esteren.

Let's do it, fellow anglophones! Let's make a scenario that will amaze people the world over?

Craps, remind me that we, frenchy guys, had forgottent to complete the scen with monks. Up it in the top of my to do list.
