Austin a écrit :Greetings folks,
Hello Austin, and welcome! A pleasure to know that Esteren has made such a strong impression on you. I hope playing it will double your excitement of discovering the universe, and share it with your Players!
Austin a écrit :I have a fairly large gaming group and I plan to drop this world on them once I am fluent in it. I would love to get the music. Hearing the sampler online is very nice but where do I purchase the album?
Ah, the album! Right now, we're out of stock, since the few copies we had left in French sold very quickly between Gen Con and the Kickstarters. However, rest assured that we intend to release a new batch of them, which will be available for the release of The Monastery of Tuath... maybe even for Book 2 Travels, but I can't make promises.
In the meantime, if you want to hear a sample from the album to come (yes, there is going to be another album!), check out
this topic. Just follow the link and look for the "Un nouvel album de musique" subtitle. Right below, you'll find this preview track.
To those folks who have crafted such a lovely game and interesting setting.
Merci,
Austin
Well, merci à toi for your patronage!
Morgon a écrit :Hello everyone,
I'm Axel from Germany. I discovered Esteren just last week and so say I have been obsessed with it is putting it mildly

Hello Axel! Be careful: that's how it starts, and next thing you know, you're in your room lighting candles and muttering prayers to the C'maoghs!
I particularily enjoy the material you reference and how you managed to blend it. It immediately reminded me of an MMO also from France: Ryzom, which also features a strong Tech vs. Nature theme. Ravenloft, of course, and a little Swedish RPG called Gemini also come to mind. Esteren is full of flavour and promise! Can't wait to see it thrive.
It also has a distinctly European feel to it, even though I could barely explain it.
I've heard about Ryzom, but never played it. However, Ravenloft is indeed among our foremost sources of inspiration: you should hear Nelyhann talking about how enamored he is with this game!
You should seriously consider getting a German distributor. Rolelaying is going strong this side of the Rhine

Who knows? Basically, all we're asking for is a good opportunity, so if you've got some suggestions to share, don't hold back!
All my best wishes for the team, thank you for sharing your vision with us!
Always a pleasure. After all, without the breath of the people who play it, the flame of a new game wouldn't last long (damn, that was good, I should keep that in mind)!
