Geez, how are you supposed to answer that? Nothing but praise and compliments about the game... be careful, at such a pace, delusions of grandeur will not be far away for us!

I am presently traveling (to parts unknown), so I cannot write long. However, I did want to say that I am glad you are here. Like you, I am very excited to be starting Esteren play next year. Since I was part of the first kickstarter, it has been a long anticipation. Let us share our experiences together!

Hello everyone

My name is Wolfgang - im 37 years old. Born, raised and living in Munich, Germany.

I play Pen&Paper RPG since 20 years now, but im not sure if im really good at it.
In the years I saw many RPG systems like "Das schwarze Auge" (The Black Eye), Shadowrun, 7th Sea, GURPS, Fading Suns, Midgard etc..

Since we did not play RPG in quite some time, I found SoE over KICKSTARTER and participated in both of them.

I only speak English and German - so I wont be able to participate in the french part.

Hope I can get connected to some people here.

Im the game leader of a group and we start our first Shadows of Estern on 20.01.2013.

Welcome Wesker! Several of the members are role-playing game veterans, and it's good to have such seasoned people to share their experience and insight.

Well, guess i had better introduce myself to this forum.
So, i am Noel, British, and been roleplaying a long time (hence my forum name). Played many role playing games, over many years and have always like my fantasy games, especially if they do something a little different, and this games certainly does that. Came across this game by name in two other forums (SLA industries forum and RPOL forum, which sparked my curiosity, so though i missed the kick starter, i brought Shadows of Esteren in PDF, and love what i have read, so next logical step was this forum. I have a burning desire to know more about the secrets of this game, so i guess next step is to go to the relevant part of this forum and ask permission to access it.
Going to set up a game of this soon, as i really want to explore this setting with my players.
Hope to chat to you all over the coming months on this forum and make some connections.

Hi, im Thomas from Norway.
40 years and has been GM-ing for 20 years. Mostly Call of Cthulhu and The Everlasting.

D&D and other classic fantasy rpg has never been my thing.

Found this game on its first kickstarter.

The artwork, layout and quality the kickstarter campaign presented got my interest. Its focus on normal people, mystery and conflict between tradition, religion and sience made me put my mony into it.

When I got the book and started GM It I knew this was it. Totally love this game, and know it will be the game my group will go back to years to years to come.


I hope the popularity of the game wil continue to grow and more products be released
