Just wanted to give a big thank you for writing his great little canvas.

I plan to really really stretch out the awakening of the Ravens gifts with in the Ionnthen that ended up being "chosen".

near the very end of the 3rd session after and the characters have just started to pick up that there seems to be at least one Corvid everywhere they have gone since leaving the stone circle.

Had to find time to go over the notes from the running of the canvas.

I did modify a bit to fit into the over arcing narrative for the table i am running.

the first change was having the nightmares occur for all members of the party but only the the two Ionnthen where able to give interpretative meaning to theirs. i did this as a way to motivate everyone into going along (we had added 3 players to the group and no one was really playing nice yet)

Once the group got to the village it took a long time to get them to ask questions, i had tried the approach of having the demorthen they encountered in the village ask about their drawn features, but the newer players were a little to keen on playing up the idea that they were very suspicious of this village that just happened to be at the base of a peak their dreams seeming lead them to.

once the group understood that the only way to stop the nightmares was to sleep with in the stone circle atop the crows peak they made there way to the top.

my other major change was having them encounter a team of Mageintists in a camp just outside the stone circle, i had had other plans for this encounter, but just after i described to the players that the team of Mageintist looked like they were placing Ravens with in a machine. Four of the five players declared that the were attacking them, the fifth player ran at the machine to get the ravens out.

after a shockingly quick blood bath the players stumbled into the stone circle and all fall into a deep slumber.

I did make sure to have the four attacking players dreamed of the fact that they technically attacked a group of unarmed people. the Ionnthen player that ran to the machine and freed the ravens was chosen.

like i said before it took 3 other sessions before they caught on to the fact that corvids are where ever they are.

and i only just had the chosen Ionnthen be called fiach dubh for the first time.
