Regarding the Character Sheet: no printer friendly version?

Hi! I'm a backer for books 1 and 2 of SoE and I'm very impressed by the production value of the game. This is a seriously good game. While I haven't run a game yet, I pretend to do it in the near future, so I'm gathering materials right now.
Given that there is so much detail and graphic adornment in all the material, I was surprised to see that there was no alternative for a printer friendly character sheet: the official version is a non-layered PDF which isn't editable to remove the background image.
While the sheet is very nice, it isn't really convenient, not only from the point of view of ink consumption but also because some players (like me) prefer to have sheets with less decoration that allows you to see the content more clearly.
Does Agate/Studio 2 have a less decorated sheet? Does anybody here has a more simple character sheet?
