Is there real world prototypes for word Sigire and Vector?

Regarding Sigire, I really couldn't say. One of the authors could inform you much better than the humble translator I am.

As for Vector, it is basically related to the notion of "something that carries" that the common word "vector" conveys. In that respect, Vectors carry the word of the One to other people.

About Sigires, I think you can basically use "Inquisitor" but in fact, in the game, most of Sigires are also quite good fighters, like if they were at the same time the judge and the executioner...

Interesting .. I was seeing the Sigires more like "witch hunters" and the like. Their combat expertise meant to me they would be more like a "Judge Dredd", "Abraham Van Elsing (Copolla 1992)" with judging and applying sentence of death right away


To me Vectors are a kind of our world "missionaries", the one that bring the faith to other people, but not necessarily with traveling.

I always wondered if the word "sigire" had a link with the word "sigil", which is used for the magical art of the demorthen...

On Wikipedia (in French), I've found that the word "sigil" came from the latin "sigillum", which means "signature", and was used in the middle ages for magic signs, or more generally for written magic.

Thus, maybe a "sigire" means in fact "protector of the writings of Soustraine", or "hunter of the sigil rann's users"?

Sigire - is a word of your creation or it word have a realworld prototype?

As far as I know, it was invented by the authors.
