I planning to run big campaign about Temple War in 2014 and want to accumulate all information about it in single theme.

Can you publish some unusual facts about Temple War here (with mention of book and page)?

Most of what you can find about the War of the Temple in the official releases is in the "Hostory," "Gwidre" and "Temple" chapters of Book 1. "Loch Varn," one of the scenarios of Book 0, also makes references to that time.

Otherwise, you can fiind some tibbits here and there in Book 2, but nothing as solid as the aforementioned parts.

Does that help?

You have some absolutely unofficial content over this war in the short story "La Brocanteuse et la Fée du Gel" (Shop Granny and the Frost Fairy):

And a semi-official chronology of the war by Iznurda (French version, the English one is not so inclusive):

Well, this is my version of the war, nothing official. But except the execution about all the mac Govrian, I think it could be a good version.

No, I'm interested only in official facts )
I can make unofficial War of Temple by myself ))

Izundra are you made official list of facts when making your chronology?
And how did you make it? Just write or it was result of some game?

I want to make my next campaign about War of the Temple.
And to uncover it story to players )

I think there will be many facts about this war in Monastery of Tuath. Someone read it in French? Is this true?

my simplified chronology in the game-aids section containt only the events found in all the books I have (except Dearg book 1&2, and the enhanced travels).

But indeed, we have few events in the core books about the War of the Temple :
  • 857 [1 360 aft. Rev.] : tensions between Gwidre and Reizh reach their peak so that the king Kaergän, advised by the Hierophant Tomar, declares war on Reizh. Quickly Taol-kaer combines with Reizh to prevent the victory of the Temple. The Gwidre's Armies invade part of Taol-kaer to the gates of Osta-Baille: this is Làr an Baille.
  • 863 [1 366 aft. Rev.] : Gwidre sufferheavy defeat, ending the conflict.
  • 887 [1 390 aft. Rev.] : The Temple appropriate the city of Rocheclaire, renamed Expiation.
  • 908 [1 411 aft. Rev.] : today
I send you a PM with the links :)

Thank you.

I have several questions.

1) Is scenario Monastery Tuath have information about War of the Temple?

2) is there information about start of the War?

3) After Gwidre defeat why Reizh and Taol-kaer didn't divide its territories between themselves? Was there any contributions?

4) What was name of Reizh and Taol-kaer Kings?

5) As I remember there was offical short story about Esteren somwhere on site. But I cannot found it now.... Can someone help?

Hello ! some answers :

1) Absolutely not

2) You can find some rumors about the start of the war in the extended version of book 2 Travels, in the section concerning the Slope of the fallen.

I do not have the proper answers for your other questions !

No official answer ; Kings were certainly the grand father of the actual kings... so at the day of today, no precise name for them
