From where can I get SoE sounding names.
Are they based on old french names, celtic...?

Re: Names in Esteren
Names in SoE are indeed based on Celtic names. However, as a GL and/or Player, you don't necessarily have to give Celtic names to all of your Characters. SoE is a fantasy universe after all, so you're free to call them as you like.

There's a handy PDF that contains quite a number of example names for people of various ethnicities in Tri-Kazel here: http://www.esteren.org/forum/viewtopic. ... 962#p13962
The Tri-Kazelian names are Celtic, the Osag names are Scandinavian, the Tarish names are Slavic, and the Continental names are a hodgepodge from various cultures, including English, French, and Greek.
