What can we expect of releases in 2013?

Any Shadows of Esteren releases not directely rpg related in the works (like novels, mobile/tablet app, miniature, art, music...)?

And when can we expect the books?

Or will there be another Kickstarter?

He he, it's a pleasure to see that members of the English community are taking interest in our next releases!

Actually, tamsyn indirectly gave the beginning of an answer to your question Kromke: all of Shadows of Esteren's next main releases (i.e. the books) will be the object of a Kickstarter campaign, as we have done for Book 1 and Book 0. I can tell you that the next one is going to be for Book 2.

As for the exact content we are going to release, well, once again, as with Book 1 and Book 0, it will depend on how successful the campaigns are. It is because we have been able to reach several stretch goals that it was possible to make a map of Tri-Kazel/plan of Osta-Baille, a set of tiles, etc. The more support we get, the better goodies we can release.

As soon as we have a accurate date to provide for the next Kickstarter, we'll tell you, so stay tuned!

Ah! Well, I really can't say much, since the whole thing is still a work in progress for now. However, pretty soon, there'll be an open letter from Nelyhann that should provide more information. As I said, stay tuned!

I`m not quite familiar with the kikstarter thing... are the members of the forum going to be informed if this kickstarter starts via I don`t know email?

Basically, Kickstarter is a funding platform, on which people launch projects (making a CD, a video game, a book, or, as in our case, a role-playing game) which other people may finance as much as they feel like, the basic principle being that for each project, there are various thresholds, and the more people give, the more they get in return.

So far, we've done two Kickstarter campaigns; one for Book 1, and one for Book 0. A third one for Book 2 will be organized in the future, and yes, members of the forum will be informed
