I notice that in the English version of Book 1, there are repeated references to things that can be downloaded from the esteren.org website (like char sheets, archetypes a.s.o.). However, I can't seem to find a download section on the web pages (and the download section of the forum is empty). Room for improvement? Or am I just too dumb to spot the right place to look?

Don't worry, you're not mistaken ; it's just that since the release of Book 1, we have had a lot to deal with, and uploading these files kinda slipped past our attention! However, I have made sure to report such a problem, which should be addressed in the days to come. I will post here to signal when the files are available.

The files have recently been made available in French, so it should be possible to do the same thing with the English ones on short notice. I'll see what can be done.

So I've asked Nelyhann about that, and he told me that right now, it will have to wait: as things are, all of our energy is focused on Book 0 (which is in the process of being printed) and Book 2 (which is being translated and laid out). However, once we're done with these two projects, we'll be able to work on other things, including these downloadable Characters!

It's not just the downloadable characters, though: it's also the clues from Loch Varn. Given that the text says you can download them, those downloads need to be online by the time someone buys the product. In the meantime I can grab screenshots from my KS pdf, but it looks bad if a product is referring you to an online resource that doesn't exist.

I know, and I am sorry about that, but we've gotten quite swamped with work: we're working on a tight schedule for the completion of Book 2 and the printing of Book 0, so unfortunately, we can't tie up loose ends right now.

Rest assured that as soon as we have more time, we'll make sure to make these files available.
