Can someone give quick review about Dragon Ulule project?

I read that it had some problems with license.
Is that problems solved?
Can anyone translate and sell SDR on other languages?

What status of product now?

Hi Valenae

As Wizards of the coast have "opened" the SRD lastly, two french projects have been launched, aiming to translate the SRD and to add some content and rules, as the OGL allows and encourages it :
- Héros et Dragons (heroes and dragons, do I really need to translate that ? ;) ), by black book editions
- Dragons, by agate.

For both of them, Wizards of the coast have written to the editors, in order to check that they would'nt infringe the licence, and the traditional D&D copyright. Both editors have made changes to their project, so both of them are now considered ok, even if some meanings of the OGL seem to be read differently by the editors (the bigger difference is between BBE who considers that three books are ok provided their titles don't bring confusion with D&D ones, and agate who says that they had to switch to 4 books in order to conform with WOTC position).

But the essential remais : as H&D, Dragons is now funded (the crowdfunding ended last monday) and should bring us a brand new Roleplaying game, with universe, backgrounds, scenarios and goodies, around the end of the year (well, if you know crowdfundigs, this could mean "2017"... ;) ).

Don't hesitate to ask for more if needed. I give you the link to Dragons project : http://fr.ulule.com/dragons-5e/

Best regards

OLG is quite restrictive. It is dont allow to use subclassess, wild elves, feats and so on.

How are you dealt with this restrictions?

Hi Valenae,

Using the OGL can be tricky.
You can read this to learn more : http://www.enworld.org/

About the projet Dragons, the idea will be to complete the missing parts with some new creation made by the team.
