I wanted to get the hardback book + pdf for 40 dollar backing, but i wanted to also add the gameleader kit to it. How do i do that? Just kickstart for 60? or... sorry never used kickstarter before and i figure this way it would be cheaper to get.

Yep. Just kickstart for $60. Note that if you live outside the US and France (if I recall correctly), then you might need to pay for shipping.

You can actually do these questions in the Comments section of the campaign once you pledge any amount (even $1!). In Kickstarter, you can modify your pledge whenever you want during the duration of the campaign.

I'm not positively sure that this is the cheapest way to get stuff, but its a nice way to push for nicer products in the future, as these guys use it to gauge enthusiasm regarding the product line.

myst is correct: $60 is the adequate price for a Tri-Kazelian pledge (including a hardcover copy of Book 2 - Travels and its PDF version) + the Game Leader kit. At the end of the campaign, you will be sent a survey to know which bonuses you pledged for. However, do take care to read the description of the "Tri-Kazelian" pledge to know if you have to add more for shipping fees.

And as myst also said, please ask your questions on the Kickstarter comment page in the future. You can be certain that you will get as good an answer there as on this forum!

As for the "cheapest option" part, I'd say Kickstarter will be the most direct and cost-effective way of getting such stuff, so go for it!

Speaking strictly from my experience, I'd say the GM kit is nice to have, nut not a must. SoE is quite light when it comes to rules, and the most important stuff can easily be fit onto a sheet of paper by yourself, including sanity management. The map of Tri-Kazel will most likely be quite nice, enhancing your players' experience of the game.

If you can spare the money, it's probably a good addition to your pledge. If you're really tight financially, you might want to save it - the Kickstarter for Book 3 is on the horizon, after all!

So the same option will be available again for book 3? And what is the map made out of?

Hello Ocule !

As Clovis said, to get quick and technical answers about the pledges & option, the comment page on Kickstarter are more efficient than the forum...

About the different options, most of them should exist in the next Kickstarter (as long as the material does exist = the limited edition for example are ... limited... :P )

The map is simply... made of paper ... hum... I have the impression I don't answer the question, or ?... ??... ?...

Hope you find the answers in the next 4 or 5 hours ! :)
