Sehr guter Vorschlag Iris :D

Hat schon jemand an einer deutschen Übersetzung gearbeitet?

Salut!

I have never seen a role playing game so well imagined, written, designed and put together as Esteren. This truly is an astonishingly great game. Félicitations.

I am just sorry that I only discovered it in the past month, so I missed the two Kickstarters. It is sad to think that I won't be able to get my hands on the lovely black special edition books, posters, t-shirt, art portfolios etc.

I will have to be content with getting a regular hardback copy of Travels when it comes out. Does anyone know if there is a date yet?

Hello Scott!

Oh, wow, thank you very much for the praise! We do everything we can to keep deserving it, and we hope that we will not disappoint in the future!

Don't worry, even if you missed the previous Kickstarters, there will be other opportunities to get nice goodies and shiny limited editions of the other books.

Actually, as far as I know, Travels is presently available. All you have to do is ask your nearest retailer to order it, and you should be set!
Allez, come on, allons-y, here we go, en avant, godspeed, hardi, let's do this!

Hi Clovis.

I'm glad to hear there will be more Kickstarters. Soon, I hope. :D

Travels is available as a PDF but the actual book is not yet available in the UK. The distributors have not yet made it available. (I just rang a big games shop in London).

I look forward to it.

All I have to do now is find a gaming group to play the game...

About that, you can check out the new update on the Travels Kickstarter for an answer!

Ah, I know it is available in Canada, so I thought it might be available in the UK as well. Just a matter of time, I'd say!

New here, so just wanted to say "hello"!

Bought Shadows of Esteren few days ago and I'm absolutelly astonished by the setting, presentation, superb art quality and mechanics of the game.

Wow. I'm 35, have been playing RPGs for around 20 years and I can tell you this: the last time I was so impressed by an RPG game was when I laid my hands on the first edition of WHFRP. :)

Amazing job, guys. Truly amazing. This is the game Warhammer FRP 3rd ed. should have been.

Can't wait to see more from you. :)

...and I can't stop wondering - why on Earth I never found time to learn French...? ;)

Hello to you too, and thank you for sharing your enthusiasm on this here forum!

Aw, shucks, thank you very much! We do our best each time, and it is very rewarding to see that people appreciate what we do to such an extent.

Awesome! Warhammer is one of our sources of inspiration (personally, I consider it to be what is closest to Shadows of Esteren), so it's great to know that you feel such a resemblance between the two!

You will see more, you can be sure of that!

Ah, France can appear to be such a tiny country compared to the United States, so French is easily overlooked... but we'll keep showing that there is more to us than stinky cheese and bad manners!

Hi All!

My name is Javier, and i'm 31 years old. I live in Barcelona, Spain, and I've been playing (mostly as GM) RPG more years than I can actually remember, starting with the old D&D Red box.

I'ts been some years now that i've been looking for a medieval setting with, low fantasy and Gritty Atmosphere that suitens more adult stories, and in Shadows of Esteren i found way more than I expected. It's not just that the artwork is supreme, it's also the way this setting is presented, giving you plenty of details and inspirations to play with, but also leaving a lot of space for each game leader to develope it's own content.

Too bad I also found about it too late to get into the first two Kickstarter campaigns and missed all those goodies. Well, let's hope there will be some way of getting them with the next one.

Oh, and I would love to see it published in spanish. Do you have any plans about it?

See you around!

Hello Javier! Glad to have you among us! Esteren is, after all, an international community, with Portuguese, American, Italians, Canadians, etc. Seeing people from all over the world gather on this forum is such a thrill!

Do you intend to run your own campaign, or will you mostly stick to one-shots?

There will, you can be sure of that! The next one should not be too far away now, so stay tuned!

It may be, my friend, it may well be...

Hello all!

My name is Shawn, and I just got into Esteren with the Book 2 Kickstarter. I picked up my books at FanExpo and have recently started to read through - they are quite dense but very compelling! :)

Thanks,
Shawn
