Clovis a écrit :Well, since the Esteren Fantasy Grounds ruleset is the work of a fan, I have not been involved in it so far. However, if a translation is launched, it would be a pleasure for me to occasionally lend a bit of help, if need be! However, as things are, as far as the possibility of a translation is concerned, the best thing to do is probably to talk about it with the original author (Heedio), and see what can be done.
Following the advice by Iznurda, I've opened a thread on this topic in the French part of the forum (marked [en] because the discussion is in English). I hope that Heedio stumbles across it sooner or later, and I would love to somehow get things going

. So if you would like to join in, I would be more than happy!

Have you tried directly contacting him? Surely, this would be the quickest and most efficient way to go.
At any rate, I'll make sure to take a look every now and then and offer advice.
Allez, come on, allons-y, here we go, en avant, godspeed, hardi, let's do this!

Hi !
I asked Nel' this afternoon about the Kickstarter PDFs,
He told me that they're doing their very best, but the post parcel lay siege to Nel' & Valentin ... a lot of parcels should arrive before Christmas,
The PDF should be sent this week, in the worst case, next week,
Sorry for the lateness ...
Si je ne suis pas là, vous pouvez me trouver ici ou là ou par MP.

I can imagine that the Christmas packages wrecked havoc on your schedules! I'm sure everyone who gets their parcel in by Christmas will be very appreciative, however,

Hello all,
My name is Bruce, I am almost 26 (Jan. 2) and live in Ontario, Canada. I recently bought SoE after much debate. I could not be happier to have purchased this game. My book should arrive sometime this week, and the PDF is absolutely gorgeous.
I mainly play Labyrinth Lord (or B/X D&D), but after I saw this game, I thought this is it. This is the game I have been missing. So I eagerly await my books arrival and cannot wait to sit down and read this (not from PDF).
My group is excited to play in this game, as I think I did a good job hyping it to them.

It's always great to read about how much role-players like our game; we've had so much positive feedback that at some times, I even find it suspicious: don't hesitate to also tell us about any gripes you may have about the game, we won't bite!
Anyway, welcome grimshwiz. I hope that your experience of the game and the future books of the series will be up to your favorable first impression!
Allez, come on, allons-y, here we go, en avant, godspeed, hardi, let's do this!

Hello mates!
My name is Jeff, I'm a college student in Missouri in the USA. I'm a Computer Science major and a Chemistry / Criminal Justice minor. I've just recently (a year or two ago) been introduced to Tabletop RPGS and I'm absolutely in love with them. I especially love this system. Too many games just don't really put enough (or any) feeling into the atmosphere. This game excels in that regard. The freedom your character has in your progression is amazing and from what I've read in book 0 - Prologue, the adventures are masterfully sculpted. Keep up the good work guys!

Welcome Jeff!
My book just came today! It is absolutely gorgeous! I am looking forward to having a game up and running in a few weeks (after my birthday). I made some character sheets in Word 2010, since the main character sheets look too ink intensive for me (beautiful as they are) and I could not find any simple ones in English.
I am a huge fan of how little you have to actually roll dice in this game (or it appears that way at least). I look forward to Shadows of Esteren and cannot wait until the next Kickstarter and will be supporting it, as well as buying Book 0 when it becomes available.
