The only tricky part is the central E, try "Estaeren"

Hullo, Aldeas,

Merci beaucoup. Pleased to be here.Aldeas a écrit :Welcome to you

Well, I had thought about it that way, but to be honest didn't know whether to put all the eggs in the basket, so to speak.Aldeas a écrit : I pronounce Esteren with the two firsts "e" like in "egg" and the third one like in "arena"

Re: Présentations
Hullo, iz,
This is the one I will go with. (Might drive some of the English speakers a bit... nuts!
)
That one seems to make the most sense to me, since the game is originally French.iznurda a écrit :Try in french : "est-ce thé reine" ^^JohnK a écrit :Btw, can anyone tell me how the word "Esteren" is pronounced properly?

Re: Présentations
Hullo, Tosheros,
Thanks to yourself, and the others who addressed this question of life and death for me.
Hmm, the only problem with this in the English sense, is that being proper English myself, I spell words like archaeology, aesthetics, etc. But I think I will go with Iz's pronounciation on this.Tosheros a écrit :/ɛst.e.rɛn/

Re: Présentations
A varigal friend of mine said she pronounced èstèrèn in Taol-Kaer, éstérèn in Gwidre and èstérèn in Reizh, but the rumor says she is a blazing pants liar.
Do you pronounce "Is it a tea, my Queen?" or "Steve MacQueen"?
- edit- Mistake on the first name. Sorry

Hullo, Patrick,
LOL! The pronounciation on those two phrases isn't even the same, except for the part about the "Queen".Patrick Cialf a écrit :A varigal friend of mine said she pronounced èstèrèn in Tri-Kazel, éstérèn in Gwidre and èstérèn in Reizh, but the rumor says she is a blazing pants liar.

Re: Présentations
Hullo, Iz,
You're right about the gothic theme of the game causing...madness.
That said, I'm definitely not going to let the pronounciation of many of the words in Shadows of Esteren drive me crazy. I'm the Game Leader after all, not one of the players!
