Funny, my players found the same issue last week during our game. They had contradicting information about Jalan's death. It was funny and I had not detetced it before play.
I solved it with talking about false memories of some of the inhabitants.

Ok, thanks. We will start Saturday in a week and I'm looking forward when he is firstly invited to the prayers. If I understand it correctly all guests have to participate (at least have to be there) on most of the prayers?

On the BRP area, I would suggest OpenQuest II for a rules light system or Mythras (aka RuneQuest 6) as a more complex version of BRP. Both are really good systems and I assume both would perfectly transport the gritty feel of Esteren.

Thank you, yes, the 3rd option was the one, I was prefering, too.
But I'm surprised that 1 is RAW? I expected 3 to be RAW, at least that was the way I told my players.

Because it will be relevant in our next gameing session, I would like to know if an Ogham is automatically capable to invoke it's reversed form (if applicable)?
Or is the reversed form a different Ogham Stone, which has to be found separately?

I would suggest to play Poison or Red Fall first. Loch Varn is quite complicated from the gameflow. I doubt that you have any time left to learn the rules without removing the flow of the adventure.
