I am not much of a rider myself, but I have done a little horseriding during my childhood, and I can say it is an activity that requires effort and concentration: it's not only about remaining still on a saddle, but also about keeping the walking pace, direction, and reactions of your mount in check, in addition to being subjected to unceasing swaying!
I guess that if the Character is an experienced rider (with at least the Riding Discipline at 6), riding can be considered a light activity, as long as the rider sticks to walking slowly.
In the end, for a sick or wounded person, the best option for traveling would probably be to stay still in a carriage!
